The world’s population is getting older due to increasing life expectancy and declining fertility and mortality rates as a result of improvements in health, technology and overall socio-economic conditions. This will have diverse ramifications on all sectors of society, including labour and financial markets, health issues, demand for goods and services including transportation, housing and social protection, as well as family and
intergenerational relationships.
